Professor Michael Coutanche from the RTA School of Media in the Faculty of Communication & Design has been named the 2015/16 Ryerson Fellow at Massey College. The Massey Fellowship is the result of a partnership between Ryerson and Massey College at the University of Toronto, which facilitates the appointment of a Ryerson faculty member to the college for a one-year research leave.

No matter what the project, large or small, we have the technical resources and student talent to provide outstanding results at competitive rates. All RTA Productions projects are supervised by award-winning media professionals to ensure client expectations are met.On Saturday, September 22, 2012, the RTA School of Media Wall of Fame was unveiled at my , Ryerson University in Toronto; I am thrilled to be one of the initial twelve inductees.Ryerson RTA School of Media Frosh presented by CURTAS will take place from Tuesday August 26th at 1:30pm and end on Friday August 29th at the Rogers Communication Centre on the Ryerson campus.Senior students from the RTA School of Media kicked off their Indiegogo campaign for Snow Queen, a live holiday drag show at the Winter Garden Theatre. They’ve already reached $1,426 but by Dec. 9 they hope to raise $2,000.

About the Program: The world of sport media—including game coverage, feature productions, information and news programming and sports marketing—has become more sophisticated and more vast than ever before. Whether on television, radio, mobile devices, live venues or websites, sport media professionals must excel in managing and presenting sports entertainment in exciting and engaging ways. Students in the RTA School of Media’s Sport Media program—the first of its kind in North America—will learn about the creative, production, marketing and business side of professional sports. They will gain the skills to succeed at sport media production and business while having a strong education that includes a solid foundation in critical theory and liberal studies. Graduates with this specialized skill set will be well positioned to score big in the dynamic world of sport media.
