Why it's on the list: The part-time, two-year program at the McCormick School of Engineering & Applied Science is targeted at working professionals. They meet one day per week to take 21 classes looking at product development. Class themes include the management of creativity and design, design strategy, customer-focused innovation, and financial issues.
Specifically, the focus of our research is making optical and optoelectronic technologies that push the limits of communication, signal processing, and computing byincreasing speeds, improving device and system integration and exploiting fundamental laws of nature. CPCC provides a venue for collaboration, coordination, dissemination, and promotion of research and teaching activities in the aforementioned areas. We are located at the McCormick School of Engineering on the Evanston Campus of Northwestern University.A student from the McCormick School of Engineering, part of Northwestern University, has been conducting into new fuel cell fabrication techniques. Nick Geisendorfer, currently in his senior year, has employed 3D printing technology in an attempt to make the solid oxide fuel cell more efficient and marketable.
