The Governor General of New Zealand launched the Endeavour Scholarship Programme in October 2001. The Three independent schools involved in this exciting programme - St Cuthbert's College, King's School and King's College.
Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships
Established in 2009, the Endeavour Scholarship and Fellowship awards are the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program that provides up to $228,500 AUD for study, research or professional development opportunities between Australia and the world. The program build Australia’s reputation for excellence in education, supports the internationalization of the Australian higher education and research sectors, and offers high-achieving individuals opportunities to increase their knowledge and expertise in their field.
The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships aim to build Australia’s reputation for excellence in the provision of education, support the internationalisation of the Australian higher education and research sectors, and offer high-achieving individuals from overseas and Australia opportunities to increase productivity and expertise in their field. Applications for the 2017 round are expected to open in April 2016. The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships programme forms part of the Australia Awards initiative established in 2009, which brings together under one banner scholarships offered by the Department of Education (the Department), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are competitive, merit-based scholarships that provide opportunities for citizens of the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, the Caribbean and the Americas.Applications for the 2015 Round of the Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are now open. Applications will close 30 June 2014 at 11:59 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
